Aradel Gas Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aradel Holdings Plc, has signed a renewed Gas Supply Agreement (GSA) to deliver additional gas to Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas Limited (NLNG) through the Shell Nigeria Gas (SNG) and NNPC Gas Marketing Limited (NGML) partnership.

This agreement marks a significant step toward advancing Nigeria’s energy transition agenda and aligns with the Federal Government’s gas reforms designed to strengthen energy security and drive economic growth.

Aradel Holdings Plc has made consistent investments in gas infrastructure to maximize the value of its assets. Since commissioning its 100 mmscf/d Gas Processing Plant in 2012, the company has been harnessing and commercializing gas resources to boost domestic gas supply and promote cleaner energy solutions.

Demonstrating its commitment to sustainability, Aradel eliminated routine gas flaring at the Ogbele facility in 2012 and became the first non-JV gas supplier to NLNG.

Commenting on the renewed agreement, Adegbite Falade, MD/CEO of Aradel Holdings Plc, said:

“We are delighted to sign an agreement that secures additional gas supply to NLNG via the SNG-NGML partnership. Natural gas continues to play a central role in our growth strategy and in Nigeria’s broader shift toward cleaner energy. Our expansion plans are aligned with the Federal Government’s initiatives on domestic gas supply, energy transition, and industrial development.”
