Tinubu Praises Kogi Governor Ododo on His Birthday

President Bola Tinubu has sent warm congratulations to the Governor of Kogi State, Mr. Ahmed Usman Ododo, on the occasion of his birthday, January 1.

Governor Ododo, one of the youngest sitting governors in Nigeria, is an accountant-turned politician who rose to prominence through public service.

Before his election as governor in 2023, Ododo served as the Auditor-General for Local Governments in Kogi State, a role in which he was widely noted for his commitment to accountability and transparency.

In his message, President Tinubu commended the governor for implementing people-centred policies and programmes aimed at improving the welfare of Kogi residents. He encouraged Ododo to further deepen the reach and impact of his initiatives across the state.

The President joined the people and government of Kogi State in celebrating the governor, wishing him good health, continued success in office, and a prosperous New Year.
